People can only imagine what happened when the city of Atlantis was created, and Guarding Atlantis suggests that things might not have been as straightforward as we have been led to believe. When Marius leads an uprising in Athens, how will it end for his people? How will they adapt to living underwater and will the tribe survive?
Everything runs smoothly for the Atlanteans for decades until Marius’s son is born. Finding out that he can breathe above water as well as below it, he spies a young Athenian woman on the shores and becomes intrigued by her. Will their union be a bond between the Athenians and Atlanteans? Or do wounds run too deep for that ever to be bridged?
